Update! I've not been quiet for no reason, I only got the car back last night and like I said at the start I wanted to talk to them before I come on here with the end result. I wanted to get some else to check the timing because YES I did think the timing was out, so wanted to see if I was right...

I do think I need to have someone else check it over if I get nowhere in the morning, they did check the timing in front of me after I drove off and was back within minutes saying how bad the car feels now and the horseshoe tool never lined up in the cams unless he tapped it with a hammer.

I see your point total Knuckles, as its not nice sat here feeling like I've been robbed, give me until tomorrow to talk to them and after that I will tell you all, I have my reasons I'm not being a d*ck just want to talk to them first.

where are all the earthing points? I've checked the earth strap and the ones going behind the passenger headlight, ive checked all the fuses and relays in the engine bay fusebox and all the fuses in the dash and cleaned them all and swapped the little black relays around to see if one isn't...

Looking for advice please, What would a solid immobiliser light mean in a 172cup? My car died on me on Friday night as I was driving and will not start, It wont even turn over unless I turn the key fast but never starts and only spins for a few seconds. Any ideas??
