I found that cuttig the fog lamp area completely open (I filled it with mesh) and removing the arch liners kept the brakes cooler than when I had those ports and 5" ducting into the arch
Yes as it happens, but not for the car! (25kg off me!) Every kg makes a difference, I’ve taken quite a lot of weight out of the car and adding an unnecessary (for me) 1kg lump felt wrong, also thought of what effect it would have in the linkage and box itself over time so decided not to fit it...
on the road the lack of centring is annoying tbh but on track it's not noticeable at all for me......but, I wish I'd stayed Hpas, the electric just doesn't feel as good imo
Sounds like you could've removed the heat shield between the master cylinder/reservoir and manifold, never had a problem with mine even on the hottest track day, gone epas now though.
After 9 years of chucking money at Evos, I recently sold both of mine, happy and sad in equal measures but it was time to be slightly more sensible and have a life! :grimacing: V took a few weeks to sell, X sold on pistonheads in less than 2 hours at full asking price!
I've not been on here for months! The Cup hadn't moved since last November until today, Mot'd tonight and hopefully back on track soon. I've not been able to afford Clio fun as I bought a new car earlier in the year and been modding it lol
The Cup is still in great health
Goodbye Evos...
No, if the original fuse blows and there's still a couple of meters of cable going to the battery and that's where the short is, the battery will blow as no fuse to stop it
I did a few other things at the same time and made an improvement, hard to say what the filter relocation on it's own did tbh  Can't hurt though with a straighter run to the tb:)
That pic is the back of the longacre from the drivers seat, cable from battery, through a 175a mega fuse to the longacre, other side of longacre to kill switch in scuttle area and kill switch down to the connector at the original battery cable.
The connector came from eBay...
