I'd want detailed pictures of the damage and the repairs along with a very low price and full service history. Very difficult to sell on, so unless it's a good deal just walk away, it could cost you a fortune if it's just been bodged back together.
I imagine by the time he's paid this finance off he'll be sick of clios and won't be wanting a cs.
They are pretty harsh on ocuk, but he has been tremendously stupid, paying well over the odds on a basic 1.2 clio with a huge interest rate. Very foolish indeed.
The only thing extreme about that is the price!
Who the hell would spend £10k on a 1.2 clio? Save your money until you can actually afford a faster car if i were you.

I've had a look through what service history i have. And i found a reciept for the service at 48k (from a non renault garage). From what i can see (the writing is fairly illegible) it cost £400 but i can see no mention of belts. I'm beginning to think neither of them have been done.
