ATE Type 200 is the equivalent to super blue IIRC
Motul RBF600 or 660 is also good fluid for track use, but needs more regular changes than the ATE from experence
Mines a Cup so routing the pipe is easier as I Have no air con.
I found soaking the end in boiling water and using a squirt of WD40 helped to shove them on all the way.... Was still a b**ch tho!
I'm using Mocal AQP Aeroquip 1/2" Hose for my oil cooler on the 172 Turbo, takes some getting on, but if you use the matching fittings there no need for hose clips, and you can just cut to the length required.

if the bearing wasn't there the rubber donut would be sitting on the upper spring plate, which would push the spacer 8-10mm up through the donut (as can be seen in your pic).
It would also cause knocking when turning as the spring will be bouncing around in the spring plate, as it won't be able...

The catch tank I bought had a mounting plate with 4 holes on the back already, although I had to chop one of the holes off to fit.

I find them ok on the OMP subframes, but I've removed all the prefitted spacers from the corbeau sliders to lower them slightly, and used dome Cap head bolts on the runners to allow me to use some of the lower mounting holes on the side mounts.
