I wanted a S3 and just took the 172 out for a test drive to kill time but fell in love with it. There good fun but not good quality, but you do get a lot of car for the money, would still love a remapped S3
Fixed it, the plastic cog on the regulator with the two wires clipped on had lapped over each other just re-threaded it now works ok. Put it all back together and now the service light has come on
Right got the door card off atm having a good look and the mechanism seems fine it hasn't come out of the runners. Just the scraping noise when its going up and down and stops about mid way. The noise appears to be coming from the motor end though its hard to tell. Any ideas?
I would say theres nothing in it, the TT maybe 225 but much heavier and quattro's are known to loose a lot of power through the transmission. Saying that the clio would probably break down half way through the race
My passenger window has stopped working it goes up and down partly on its own but needs help going the whole way. Dont know if someone has leaned on it. Any ideas?
Where did you dream up a 300kg difference, dont be daft probably more like 50kg. Plus a remapped DCi would get well and truely owned by a 1*2 theres no comparison and i would know as i have owned them both.
