Is it only on full lock? I have to think quite hard not had a clio for a while but I and most others had a knocking on full lock when moving slowly, the fix to this is the same as what the clio v6 uses and thats a washers underneath the top mount, dont know why it fixes it just did maybe someone...
They have got a bad rep for the welds cracking but that was only due to one batch being sent out which had this problem, me and lots of others havent had any problems with the millteks and if you do do it I would definately recommend the decat as well, sounds lovely and pops a little on high revs.
If it is the back lambda why dont you remove the heat shield too, then get out from under the car and work standing up, much easier especially if you have a work bench and all that
just drop the rear beam a little then work the exhaust out if you are planning on keeping the exhaust hole, not too hard only a couple of bolts, just lower it on the trolley jack while the axle stands hole the car up
im from sunny swanage, just over the chain ferry from sandbanks, near poole/bournemouth, hopefully should be able to get along to the Southampton meet later on in the month.
both do sound amazing, christopher, what exactly do you have with your exhaust? mine is a milltek catback with a milltek decat, it isnt blowing, well not at any of the cat joins or any back from that but still sounds like it is??, do you have your decat welded in or can you remove yours as and when?
