I was thinking of doing the same but my local Asda and Tesco both sold out of Fifa 2010 in the first couple of days and i presume the demand for this will be much higher, so i'm thinking of a preorder.

Just a question people..
I've pre-ordered MW2 through tesco entertainment, now as we know... Postal Strikes.. This could have a knock on effect and thus mean getting the game late???

Do you recon i should pre-order at game and go pick it up at midnight???,

what ya recon

well you could do. then when the delivered one comes from tesco, take it back to game with the game receipt (unopened) and get a refund.

(as long as tesco dont but a sticker on it, cant see why they would)

I don't think that Tesco will give a flying monkeys about getting you your game on release date.

As above, pre order 2 and get your money back on one of them.

Well I got my copy of Forza 3 2 days before release day from Tesco so I am pretty sure they will ship it in time but it will all come down to Royal Mail I suppose. I have my copy pre-ordered with them but I also have a copy reserved through ASDA (family member) which I think I will collect on midnight so I might as well cancel my Tesco order ;)....

Where have you been? ASDA now do pre-orders on all games. You don't pay till you collect, they'll hold it for 3 days. No family member needed for this.

I've pre-ordered with GAME, and hoping it comes early.

Last year, I pre-ordered COD:WAW from GAME, and it came 2 days early.

Fingers crossed.

I hope I have a repeat of when I pre-ordered COD:WAW from GAME last year, received it 2 working days before release day.

Nope. Although, saying that, COD4 was much better than COD5, I thought. I'm confident this will wipe the floor with them both, but it would be a shame if a few months down the line people are still flocking around COD4 online like they do now due to COD5 not being as good.

i find there are more users on 5 than 4 but maybe its just the times im using it

there was somewhere doing £37 preorders again today

Well this is definitely using up my Store Card credit at Game on release. I've £75 which I could have used on either Forza 3 or Fifa 2010. Bout time it was used.

Looking at my COD:WAW order last year, I paid £39.99, and this year for MW2 I've paid £44.99, so it's only a fiver more, worth it imo.

I got mine 2 days early for £39.99 from GAME, then queued with a mate at 11pm at ASDA to get him one for £27 too.

Was a laugh, but don't intend on doing it again.

I can understand it being in the game as an 'Optional' mission, a bit like the Zombie levels in WAW.
Although, I'm expecting it to be an undercover mission, and you are supposed to kill these terrorists, yet this player is playing it differently?!

quite possibly from what i have read your undercover cia and yes i think supposed to kill the terrorists but killing innocents does seem like fun :D

How do you order a game on ASDA entertainment and collect it instore?? Just tried it now and it asks for card details and also a delivery address with no option to hit "collect in-store"
