That looks like a Power Magic Pro. It looks at the voltage of the car battery for Sat Navs hardwired in (make shift parking mode).

Normally a cigarette lighter socket plugged into it, but I'm guessing that's missing.

Looks to be hardwired for the dashcam. ?

I've no idea mate! It's nothing to do with the dash cam, wired it in. I've never seen that, no idea what it is. Nothing to do with the map either. Alarm related? Or some kind of immobiliser?

I was thinking that. But surely they would have had a dangling red, blue and green wire to be cut with an accompanying beeping noise?

Check the fuse box, they look to wire in using a dummy fuse thingy.
