I have booked up a track day at Castle Combe on 23rd April in my Clio 172 Cup. I know I will need to increase tyre pressures to increase tyre roll resistance but to what pressure?
I knwo you run them at hgiher pressures, one the edges ofg the tyres go you ahve almost no grip, hence ncreasing the pressure to preserve the edges of the tyres

Lower tyre pressure means more grip, higher tyre pressure is less grip, obviously there is a limit so start 3 psi lower than recommended and then try recommended tyre pressures and then see how it feels. you will be able to compare then
Once youve run a session check the sidewalls on each corner and adjust pressures to get the wear to the edge of the tread pattern - if youre on the sidewall...more air.
