Ph2 172, 106 Rallye
When I purchased my 172, some prat had put 'limo' tints on all the windows. They were so dark that the rear view mirror was useless. Needless to say, they were ripped straight off as soon as I got home.
I took my time and used a heatgun and some tar remover but since then, the rear demister hasn't worked.
I'm guessing the window tint film removed some of the copper contact wires that run along the window. Has anyone had any success in repairing these? I remember years ago there was a paint you could get but it was 50/50 whether it worked or not. H
