Have you any idea what the difference is between a Clio 172 and a Clio 172 SP

Think hes on about buying a 172, just wondered if anyone can tell me the differences

By SP he may mean sportspack. Just a guess as this may mean a cup, never heard it called an SP though

No difference, its probably refering to the Sport bit of RenaultSport.

Search is a bit dodgy at the moment as you can only search by title, so well forgive you this time.

Im pretty sure he means the difference between a cup and a std 172, so here goes anyway

uprated, slightly lower and wider suspension

Thinner glass

Removal of:

ABS

ESP (I think)

Xenons

Sound deadening matting

Spare wheel

No Leather

Rear bench seat rather than normal split seats

Different colours (Blue and silver)

Different Alloys



All in all, a completely different car really. 172 is for speed, comfort and nice extras and the Cup is for stripped out, track style action, no toys and requires more involvement.

Personally, i went for the 172 as i wanted a quick car with nice toys.
