Looking to see if anyone has had a similar issue.

Fuel level needle goes beyond full and almost rotates 360 degrees. You can get it back to normal position if you leave it a bit then flick the key on an off, it gradually goes back to where it should be. Any ideas what the cause could be?

I thought earth issue so stripped the loom back to check but earth is fine, relay fine. Last thing to check is the sender but was hoping for a simpler solution than removing the sender from the tank

Cheers

Have you collected the 'Unlimited Fuel' power-up? lol

It does sound electrical, though - I think you might have no choice but to check / replace the sender!

Unless there could be a loose/dodgy connection behind the dash? But then it wouldn't change with the key, so... I don't really know... lol

Tried the dial calibration thingy?

With ignition off.
Hold trip button on right hand stalk end and turn key to on position and release button.

Turn key to off to end calibration mode.

Probably won't help but it's free to try.
