Bonnet catch cable route ??

Same question from me. Just had the alternator replaced so they've had the bumper off. Now the bonnet catch doesn't always work. It looks like the cable is hanging down under the bumper.
I can't remember off the top off my head but I always thought it ran just under the slam panel , not low down at the bottom of the bumper?
Any pics of the cable running along the front of the car would be much appreciated.
