1st post & coilover question

  Clio 182 Cup
Hi Folks , ive had my 182 with cup packs a year now and covered about
10k bonding miles. overall a great drive , fairly practical daily driver , and
reliable enough. My first hot hatch since my UNO Turbo in the 80s and a
worthy successor. ( thanks to EVO mag , i had to test one )

Now i like the handling a lot but the up and down bouncing is just too
much for the missus so was hoping a coilover set might be the answer.
much as i like bilstein/KW they are too much £ for a dd road car. What about the KTR kit from K-tec or the Gaz ? Im based in Newcatle so any
recommendations for a good fitter/geo ?

Coilovers will give a harder ride so probably not best for your requirements. I'd get new standard dampers all round as they will give the best ride quality.

Thanks. The car now has 60k miles. One rear shock leaking since passed MOT a few months ago, so prob due for a refresh. I am assuming the bouncing is due to the
shocks, but still handles very well otherwise in fast cornering/braking.

People rate ebiach springs, for comfort and handling they are good.
I have H&R coilovers, which are'nt any harder than cups suspension. Handling is great though, but expensive.
