182 rear bumper and exhaust...

The exhurst design is sh*te and doesnt allow proper airflow out both pipes, youd be better off with a aftermarket one designed specifically for the 1.4 16v engine. Bumper should fit on without hastle.

I like the two little exits tho - the only proper exhaust system for my car is the K-tec one and I am not overly keen on the pipe options and noise!?

I really like the look of the rear bumper with fitted twin exit exhaust.

Speak to Tom hes having a decent one made up, a la V6 style.

Thinking about it not sure it will actually fit, someone mentioned the 182 has a flat boot pan. Might have imagined it tho.

The V6 has huge pipes though - I like the icke subtle ones!! :p lol Its only a 1.4 afterall! I didnt know if joining the arches would be a problem too?!

^^ you mean i didnt know if that would be a problem!! :p lol

Like we said though even if the bumper doesnt fit right due to the 182s flared arches could always just get the zorst and get a bodyshop to sort the holes for it in your bumper! :)

Sadly impossible. unless you want to remove your boot floor and weld in a new one.

the exhaust design is strange, at idle one pipe kicks out more air than the other but at high revs they both push out at similar rates.

k tec are going to do the rear bumper for the gia kit soon which has 182 esque exhausts.

Cheers Tom.

Still trying to get a price off Renault for their new Sports exhaust, but they are totally and utterly useless (like we dont all know that!) and I am not getting anywhere with them - going to call Romford later in the week in the hope that they are a bit more useful than my local garage (which would not be difficult!).

If not, then will probably be K-tec! Cant afford it just yet though anyway, but need to get organised!!

No probs. if you wanted to keep the std bumper, you could just order the heat shields and have them fitted into the stock bumper.

Topgear in stalbans are the best powerflow guys around our "area"

Wicked...will have a rethink - if the whole 182 thing wont go, then I will probably think about a different option and stick with the std bumper. Really want to replace the whole system or get a Renault one if poss.

as tom says you would need to remove the spare tyre well. the back section of the 182 exhaust is a bit crap anyway, its only two 172 back boxes sat side by side and joined together at the front. looks like a custom made job might be for you because that way you could get a quiet one.
