Shouldnt you have a budget. Then a set of requirments for car ie no of doors , seats , hatch, saloon etc Then a realistic target mpg then see what fits. It seems a really random selection of vehicles you have posted.

Just buy one with no question marks over it. A well kept higher mileage car without question marks will serve you far better. And for 4 grand you should get a good one

Even though the original 19's look a bit vauxhall VXR they look massively better than those black 18's. I think tbis bodystyle and arch size looks better on a 19

Exactly. It honestly does seem these have a very fixed going rate for a nice one with sensible miles. And that is 25k If i were you i would DEFINITELY stretch your budget out to that. Peace of mind alone is worth the extra
