    Project 182 Inferno

Been a while since the last update. I was out of the country during covid and travelled/worked a lot, so the car was left with my dad to use. Now I'm back I'm using it a bit more. Thankfully a lot of the issues that plagued me previously do seem to have been fixed. Some of the work carried...

    Project 182 Inferno

Bit of a crap couple of months with this, unfortunately. Needed a new NSF caliper on the day of a funeral, 2 new brake pads alongside that. Asked for Brembo oems, got some cheaper ones instead. Really don't have any luck with mechanics. New tie track rod end/suspension arm bush on the OSF +...

    Project 182 Inferno

Did around 1000 miles recently as went down to Goodwood for the FoS. The only mishap was one of the foglights cracked en route via a stone flying up. Other recent faults after owning it for a little while now - The immobiliser fault has come and gone again recently (doesn't start). Serv/esp...

    Project 182 Inferno

Thanks! Took me a long time to find one but definitely hold out for it if you want the colour. It's worth it! I got lucky with it being so near as every other for sale post seemed to be Scotland or down south.

    Project 182 Inferno

A couple of pics of the inside from the full clean when I first got her. No before ones but was pretty mucky in places. Put the FK euro lights on whilst I was doing this, as seen in other pics up top. As there's no proper service history with the car, thought it would be best to 'start...

    Project 182 Inferno

Cheers! Spoilers an odd one as not always noticeable but then you look at it from an angle and it's just a million miles off ?‍♂️ on the cards at a later date to be re-done. Final few bits from the 1.2 to this one: Side indicator covers changed to the black ones. Lower handbrake handle...

    Project 182 Inferno

New led bulb/holder for the back. New LED reverse bulbs. Swapped the speaker covers/door handles from the 1.2. Doesn't look as good with the cup door cards but I would like to change the door cards/rear seats as the pov spec look dreadful. And also swapped the parcel shelf from my 1.2...

    Project 182 Inferno

After months of searching, I finally got an Inferno 182 a couple of months ago now. Viewed a few different ones but couldn't find a nice, low mileage example for ages. All the nice ones were a million miles away and the rest that was near had s**t for sale ads. But in the end, I found this...

Still have this, unfortunately, but finally giving it a good wash this weekend and finally putting it up for sale. Weather better hold off. Firstly it decided to have a misfire straight after the MOT, took a while for them to diagnose it, in the end was a Lamda sensor. And then the OSF brake...

Time has come to an end with this (I think) as now purchased an inferno 182. Not quite sure atm whether to strip it, break it, scrap it or do some work on it and put it through its MOT. Be sad to completely break the thing but doubt I'll be getting much for it as it's a non sport. Tonne of stuff...

    ***How much is it worth?***

Really unsure of what this is worth in its current state, anyone have any ideas? I know non sports aren't quite as desirable... Will need some work to go through its MOT so I'm debating whether to break it, transfer as many parts to my 182 and sell the rest. Then either scrap it or put it back...

New brake pads and water pump just fitted. Also had the garage to look at the coilovers and give them a refresh. Unfortunately, the front ones are seized. Could possibly be fixed up as have heard coke etc is good to get rid of all the corrosion and muck, but don't have the time or knowledge of...

Grab handle in. Awful getting that back in. Had to cut down the clips on the end for it to finally go back. And both visors. Had to reglue both. May have to do again at a later point due to the heat. And finally fitted both handles that I sprayed a year or so ago..

Now back with the clio after travelling. MOT and full service done. Few niggles here and there as was stored for about 9 and a half months (horn not working, faulty abs sensor, osf brake siezed). Only moved around a couple of times by my dad and the clio started first time without hesitation...
