Flat trim removal tool and gently prise them up. The fixings underneath are square so unclip from one side and then you can remove from the other. They don't generally take too much force to remove.
Straight through Mot today with no advisories. Depending on the weather this weekend I will get some decent photos. The Recaros are in amazing condition. Need to work out what it's worth!
Been a bit slow with updates! Car is almost back together. New rear numberplate light, new numberplates, genuine mats and a good clean with everything removed. I have also done some preventative maintenance on the fuel cap area to keep it all good.
Mot is booked for Thursday and then it will...
Some of you may have seen that I have recently sold my mint mondial blue 172 Cup and not long after that my iceberg 172 Cup. The reason being that I was offered back this 182FF in artic blue that I sold to a good friend of mine a year ago.
It is a 2005 Clio 182 in artic blue(my favourite...
That is excellent. I think its amazing that it still has the original engine and box. Shows how good they are if you keep on top of maintenance. Nice one 👍
Having sold my fair share of 172/182 in various forms over the years and recently, I would say the above estimates for both those cars are very reserved in the current market.
Both are low owners, low mileage for age and look pretty good. I obviously have not seen them, but would list both over 4k
Well I said it was a keeper..............until I was offered back my old 2004 registration Iceberg 172 Cup! It has gone to a very good home! I shall let the new owner update the thread. There are some stunning pictures of the car.
I did get some use from the car prior to selling and it...
I love my PMS silenced system. I need to update my thread as now using my Cup quite a bit. PMS really put some thought into the design of the downpipe and sports cat.
Totally agree with above. I have had both and B14'S are perfect for road and if just for that and occasional track day. BC'S are much better for track as 30 point adjustment for damping. I used to set mine soft for road and mess around with them for track days.
There are obviously other options...
It passed with no advisories, which was pretty much what I had hoped for with all the new parts! The tester looked at the car and said "do I even need to bother testing this it's so clean" which was nice to hear!!
@Porl I can confirm the PMS kitten works too 🤣 Took for a bit of a hammer on...
Finally got round to fitting the new steering wheel this morning. I also checked it over for mot. The only thing not working was the hazzard light switch. Swapped it over with a spare one and all good.
Driving to the mot station is the first time I have heard the new exhaust system and...
Had a bit more time on the Cup yesterday. Sports cat turned up in the week so swapped out the decat for it.
I cleaned behind the bumper and front panel. New LED sidelight bulbs and xenon lights then fitted. I was not too sure how they would look being grey insert, but I really like them. You...
🤦♂️ I have a good friend that has a 275 Cup S who I reckon would be happy for you to have a look. If all pans out I may have another in the not too distant future too. They are such great cars.
Some of you may have seen my Megane RS 265 has been sold. I was gutted to sell, but has given me a bit of money and time to spend on the Cup!
First up was to sort the exhaust system to something I have always wanted. Full PMS system ordered with sports cat, centre silencer and stealth rear...
Not updated my threads for ages! The Megane was sold Saturday to the first person to view it. It has been absolutely amazing and faultless in my ownership. I have owned it 18 months and covered 10k in that time.
Everytime I got in the car it never failed to put a smile on my face. Best car I...
