You say that but others have generalised as if it were true of all. If putting braces in that don't connect with the top of the shock dont do anything why do roll cages that aren't increase torsional regidity by such big margins?

Can anyone suggest why a 172 would go better and feel smoother on less than full throttle. When I pushed it today on full throttle it felt hesitant and gave a rough edge to the sound?
Not familiar with clio's yet but sounds like an idle control valve is clogged up. In other makes i would say find it, clean with like a carb or brake cleaner and stick it back in.
