I did it in my Fiesta earlier, air intake isn't that low on the sport so you should be alright, as the other chap just said probably just the water steaming off your hot radiator :)
I've got a clio 182 want it to sit a little lower and handle a little better too, was looking at the eibach sport lines springs on ktec dropping it around 30mm so it states as wouldn't want to go any lower really, the car doesn't do track days etc and wouldn't want to buy cheap coil overs.
Was...
Cleaning out the car and always noticed this under the passenger seat yet moved it so I could clean under the seats easier, what's it for or used to be for as it doesn't seem to be doing anything? I assumed it was maybe the housing to a cd changer or something like that?
Any ideas? Just curious :P
It does sound awesome have been looking into it for a while, roughly how long do you go for and how much roughly does the trip cost including fuel and laps etc?
Only thing that would worry me is hammering the clio round the ring and breaking something so I can't get back!
I can't say I'm a big fan of Euro car parts anyway.. I'd agree on Andrew Page or GSF, Euro parts just tend to be low quality from experience.
Had a new bottom ball joint off of them once for a 1.2 clio and it came with a new clamp bolt, granted it was an aftermarket part.
Although when...
The most of that isn't too bad, it's the airbag light that would be the pain for me, have you had it plugged into diagnostics yet to see what's going on there?
So they're not that great..? More wanting to reduce the arch gap a little bit as I think they sit a little high as standard but don't want lowering springs
I've got a clio 182 and wanted to put it on coil overs for the slightly better handling and the ride height option, lowering 20mm to reduce arch gap
Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the ktec own coil overs, they're around, £300-£400 but are they decent enough?
Any help...
It's got an OEM look, although it's a longlife system heard mixed opinions if I'm honest. I like it though, doesn't look too big, sounds good at high revs and is quiet when you want it to be!
Was a member of the forum a while ago while looking to get rid of my little mini, 2 years later off the mins and the idea of a 1.2 clio now own myself a lovely 182!
Just thought I'd come on to see what the scene is like and if there's many shows about?
Cheers chaps
Been on the forum once or twice but I'm now on the lookout for a cliosport either a 182 or a 172 cup that I've been told are fairly good also.. Any nearby to the Worcestershire area? Plus anything to look out for in particular when buying one? Cheers! :-)

I'd go for a recaro one, surely that'd look in place in your clio and keep your child safe? I wouldn't trust asda with cheese let alone a child's safety!
As the insurance on it is up in under 2 weeks is what is making me think about it a lot more because I'll either go for a 1.2 clio or end up keeping the mini again, but like I said whenever we go anyway long distance I need to get a mate or something to sort it for me, would just be easier to...
