Need your help speccing up a PC.

Hi All, I remember a fair few of you have great knowledge of the PC gaming world. I sold my Gaming tower for a PS4 so I could continue to play Assetto Corsa after I moved in with the Mrs.. The Ps4 is not really providing the same kind of experience my PC was. I'm looking to build a console...

    Running spacers on track.

Hi, I've been debating this in my head for a while and I can't decide whats right. My car came with 25mm spacers fitted. I'm about to run a trackday at Spa, my first time on track with the 197. The Spacers are h&r bolt to hub type, 25mm. The car trams a lot on the road. But I'm not bothered by...

If you were to tell me that you have built up a range of matching power armours in various different colours (magazines and stuff) and have them all lined up on one of your bases in a kinda death army display... Then I would agree, you have issues (as do I).

I just use a playseat challenge with a G27. It folds away so can be stored away nice any tidy.

Clio 3 Rs: Coil over spring rates.

I am dealing with them direct. Speaking with someone called Julian. So far have been great to deal with. I have also been looking at Madeno racing, they do custom Bilstein setups based on the B14.

Clio 3 Rs: Coil over spring rates.

Hi, I'm ordering some suspension for the R27. Just wondering what you guys think I should go for in terms of spring rates. AST 5100 with Coilover rear. They recommend 60N f / 40N rear or for something a little stiffer 80N F / 80N F Car is not stripped out, will not do many miles, some road...

    Direnza mk3 spacers

I have a set of H&R spacers on my R27. I shall be taking them off as I am purchacing a set of the 8" Clio Cup Speedlines. I think they are 25mm, can by them if you want them @Knuckles ?

Whats the damage? (whats likely to need replacing?)

I have attatched a copy of the alignment sheet. Would it be a bodge if I used a shim on the arm thats out. I was thinking perhaps a 30 minute shim to bring the toe back in. Would that work, or is it a rough repair?

Whats the damage? (whats likely to need replacing?)

There is no visible damage from under the car. Everything looks in order. He spun the wheel around with the laser (alignment) still connected and it didn't make any difference. The toe value didnt change. I am hoping its the stub axle. I'm praying its not the beam.

Whats the damage? (whats likely to need replacing?)

So, some of you know I just bought a lovely RB R27. When i purchased it the steering wheel was a little off to the right and so I agreed to knock off a little money to have it aligned. Took it for the alignment today and the right hand rear wheel is toeing out by 30 minutes. There is a small...

Whiteline Rear ARB / Sway Bar For Road Use? | Clio 182

Going to go against the grain here. In my opinion, the whiteline rarb does create oversteer, especially in the wet where I found it quite snappy. Had many a fun drifty moment on a wet roundabout. Mine was with the SPAX RSX full coilover kit and was set to hard. To try and explain it in simple...

    Clio 197 Michelin cup dampers.

Spoke to a local company. They have some custom Bilstein options. This is what I think I may go for... Front: McPherson front struts with upside-down technology, 40mm clubsport valved dampers, Eibach ERS linear main springs, lightweight aluminum camber adjustable topmounts equipped with...

Your opinion on coilover choice. 197.

Yeah its Bilstein. I spoke with a bloke called John (great name), he said he would rate the R3 over the one make Michelin cup series stuff, mostly because Renault developed the R3 Access kit to compete with other manufactures, where as the Michelin cup stuff is all spec, so not as "competitive"...

    Track tyres

I have used R888's. Great Tyre. Just bought a set of RSR's for the 197. However... I am really curious about using Rally slicks. I don't think they will yield as much grip as an R888, however, they will be more durable (if the right compound), they are cheap as chips and they can be cut for...

Your opinion on coilover choice. 197.

Just spoke with R-sport in Wimbledon. I am now also contemplating The Clio R3 Access kit. To be honest, this sounds like a great option as you know Renault have actually spent a fair bit of time/money in developing it. Will be look at the Intrax stuff too. Its not about money. Ever since I did...

Your opinion on coilover choice. 197.

Hi, As some of you may have seen I have just got myself a nice little 197. I am not making the same mistake that I made with the Ph1, in that I am not going to throw parts at it until I am happy with it... As.. you are never happy with it. i am limiting myself to a few simple mods to make it...

    Flamemobile at Anglesey

Nice driving, well held on the "moment" Ty Croes is probably my favourite track. Bog standard £600 Puma complete with odd patterned remoulds all round. Really good fun. Killed the brakes and the diff bearings during this track evening though.

    Jacking disaster

Everyone's got to learn somehow. Instead of a block of wood, cut up an old rubber floor mat to fit within the cup of the jack. If you want to protect the paint.
