    Dashboard cluster LED conversion

How would you see the numbers on the LCD if the background is white? I don't think you can - the blue is a very light shade of blue.

    Dashboard cluster LED conversion

The LCD will be blue if you use white SMDs as the LCD as a blue hue to it anyway.

    Dashboard cluster LED conversion

All PLCC-2 then I can't remember how many you'll need, call it 10 to be safe. 2 SMD for each REV and ODOMETER 1 SMD for each TEMP and FUEL 4 SMD for the LCD ?? Think that's correct, best bet it pulling the dials out is dismantle to check first, also I put white SMDs in so the needles colour can...

    Dashboard cluster LED conversion

This'll be dependant on the year on your car. If it has a digital center or dials for fuel and engine temp. They'll either be all 3528 PLCC-2 SMD, or 3528 PLCC-4 SMD aswell as.

They're transparent so the colour you paint the back is the colour they'll look like in the sunlight or at night being lit by the LEDs in the dashboard

    rear disc / bearing spacers

Thankfully it's not my car I hijacked the picture from some other thread.

    rear disc / bearing spacers

Moral of the story, fit spacers and you're in business and you won't fubar the bearings etc.
  11. MWright

    rear disc / bearing spacers

Yeah the bearing is pressed into the disc. Same difference haha.
  12. MWright

    rear disc / bearing spacers

Yes it's so the disc sits flat against the spacer thus adding longevity to your bearing.
  13. MWright

    rear disc / bearing spacers

Yes, you want the flat face of the spacer facing outwards.

    Black Dynamique 1.2

It's pretty good at the rear only needed 1° shim. I'm running 195/50 - so no stretch whatsoever. The fronts are fine I don't exactly want the flush look. It's a good setup and purposeful for a daily.

    Black Dynamique 1.2

I got both sides from a Facebook group Renault Partsdirect, which was run by Paul Earnshaw I dealt directly with him through fb. I won't need spacers on the rear once/if you convert to discs [emoji16].

    Black Dynamique 1.2

Cheers all info on the rear beam - http://www.cliosport.net/index.php?threads/731058/ I never tried but it wouldn't work without them as then you'd have no ABS and the drum sensors won't work/fit in the disc hub/carrier. I much preferred the real thing than reps.

    Black Dynamique 1.2

Low and slow is what they say. I wouldn't have thought of buying a sport earlier otherwise. Rims will be staying for the next Clio unless a decent offer comes along.

    Black Dynamique 1.2

Cheers, not really a fan. I quite like the phase 3 front end. Don't really want to turn it into an RS rep, this might be for sale soon thanks to @Logan89 in standard guise or with mods. Recent updates. Ktec recessed exhaust (quieter version) Alcantara wrapped A pillars Engine bay mounts...

    Help needed in Manchester.

Haha nestled in for the night pal, tomorrow will be good I'll drop by before I head back home in Stockport if we need the impact gun or not
  21. MWright

What is this on the rear beam?

It adjusts your headlight aim dependant on the height of the rear axle. More weight pitches the car this counteracts that and changes the headlight aim accordingly.

    Help needed in Manchester.

I can pop by and try my corded impact gun if you have a plug source nearby? 3 foot and your weight isn't shifting it? You're trying the undo the hub but with the wheels on the ground right?

    Fitting K&N Filter to 1.2

    Fitting K&N Filter to 1.2

What year 1.2 do you have as the tb on some models are in the inlet. You'll require an adaptor which comes part of a kit. Also I think it'll matter if its 16v or 8v. Try and find a picture of an engine bay similar to yours.

ELECTRIC SUNROOF GLASS REMOVAL - URGENT

Remove the glass to what extent? I've removed the sunroof to reseal it. That I did by removing numerous 10mm bolts around the circumference of the sunroof - peel/bend the headliner back to access these. This will remove the inner frame holding the sunroof in - you should be able to remove the...

    Clunk when dry steering

I thought I was going insane thinking it could be other things. Wouldn't mind finding the specific part at fault on the rack or column.

There's no poly urethane alternative for an ARB bush for a 1.2 - well AFAIK. Not wishbone bushes.
