Thanks Russ, not sure I’ll be able to make it this year but I really enjoyed last year, such a brilliantly eclectic mix of cars there.

    Tim's Trophy - #455

The Trophy has taken a bit of a backseat, partly due to a lack of spare time, and partly because it misbehaved at the worst possible time. To be fair maybe it was letting me know not to neglect it so much. It was back in early September that I started driving it in anger after a while of being...

    Trophy Front Sachs Dampers

It all depends if he genuinely thinks they’ll sell at that price (deluded), or is he a marketing genius? He’s got people on multiple Trophy-related platforms giving him free advertising, which may result in a sale. The fact is, if you’re looking to buy a Trophy the first question you’ll ask...

Low Mileage Cup - Where best to sell?

Creeping up nicely with two days to go. I haven’t read the details but I assume there’s a reserve price on it?

First one I’ve seen that wasn’t a Transit painted with a roller.

Low Mileage Cup - Where best to sell?

It may not be without storage costs but you still have to insure and maintain it. And where does the 200 Cup rank in terms of desirability… probably behind the v6, 172 Cup, 182 Trophy, Williams, R26.R, Spyder, 200 Silverstone (?), 5GTT, 200 AG etc etc. Does it even make the RS top 10? At the...

    MS Teams - download structure?

Anyone an expert or Admin on MS Teams? I want to download a hierarchy of our company’s Teams structure - the names of all Teams, and the names of all channels within each Team. I can export the list of Teams which shows how many channels are in each Team, but I can’t see how to get the names...

If I’m excused from family duties tomorrow morning then I’ll be coming up from Newbury and will aim for the pre-meet Russ. Negotiations continue.

Modified 182 - road legal - who best to approach for insurance?

Could also try A-Plan (Thatcham branch deal with modified cars) or Keith Michaels. Expect to pay between £150 and £1,500.

I’ve pulled the trigger on that one, thank you! Under £1,150 after all cash backs and discounts etc. Now onto the oven (x2), hob, extractor, dishwasher and fridge.

    The new TV thread

Cheers Mike, that looks like a pretty decent price!!!! Or do I spend £40 more for the largely unreviewed CS, which is a 2022 set. Also available at RS.

    BMW engined Capri.

Been following this guy after seeing him doing Mike’s mk1 transit conversion. Some of the stuff he has going through his workshop 😮

    The new TV thread

I think you’re probably right, Mike, that’s where I’ll end up, price dependent. JL had offers (posted above?) and with various discounts/cashback I could have got it for £1,228. Not sure it’ll go cheaper on the 25th or the run-up, but if anyone sees anything then post away 👍

    The new TV thread

Agreed, big is beautiful, but it’s the trade-off that I’m not sure where I stand. Size vs quality. It’s very early days, I’ve got plenty more hours researching to go and the budget isn’t nailed yet, but as an example, it could be the difference between a 55 C2 and and 65 A1. How do you choose?!

    The new TV thread

We’re in the market for a new TV and clearly me and her have conflicting views on size. Ironically I want the biggest I can get my hands on and she’s perfectly happy with something very modest. I’m trying to see things from her perspective and wondered if anyone here had got a biggun but wished...
