Going to be removing my engine within the week sometime, I'm fitting electric steering and removing the aircon but can you remove the pulleys an just fit a shorter belt instead of going down the route of pulleys as obv there's some without aircon so I presume you can just put that belt on? But...
on a project im doing atm id like the mount the gearbox from underneath, has anyone done this on these? does anyone no where i can get suitable bushes/mounts for doing so aswell
Is there a Clio mk2 model that doesn't have power steering? Basically I'm wire tucking/smoothing the bay and could get rid of the pas reservoir instead of relocating

Has anyone relocated battery, ecu and the fusebox to the interior? i no the battery and ecu have been done but cant find a relocated fusebox.

scale of 1 to difficult to remove bottom arms on a ph2 172, as iv got some powerflex bushes and will have 2 hours spare after work on friday and want to no of any issues just incase, as you never no lol

recently done an engine conversion 1.2 to 172 whole looms were swapped.
installed the aircon and climate control but it doesnt keep a constant temp it'l be warm then go cold then warm and cold, the only thing not connected since the conversion is the loom that goes up into the interior light and...
just had an MOT and they said theres slight free play on the drivers side wheel to do with the steering rack, ( not track rod ends as iv just fitted some and bottom ball joints ) iv had a feel and there is slight play not enogh to fail though, but il be driving to germany in a few months so want...
Just done a f4r conversion on my 1.2 I'm going to get a 182 Mani decat and have a ktec 182 look back box, Im going to heat wrap the whole manifold and thought about wrapping the whole exhaust up to the back box, is this worth while or just a waste of money lol?

Half way through doing an engine conversion on a 1.2 track car, puttin a F4R in it
got the engine out, just dropped it all down on the subframe, pretty easy tbh,
while its out im going to do the belts and clutch, done the clutch so far, but the belt all i have is Autodata, my mates lending me...
On the drivers Side driveshaft on the ph2 , I think it's the gaiter nearest the gearbox has split, can the gaiter be replaced or is it a new driveshaft job?

just bought a wizards of nos kit, im planning on running 50bhp to begin of with and then get a progressive controller and go upto 75bhp and 100bhp,
i dont want to spend thousands on the engine and with nos at least when its not on the engine isnt under stress
