Going to be removing my engine within the week sometime, I'm fitting electric steering and removing the aircon but can you remove the pulleys an just fit a shorter belt instead of going down the route of pulleys as obv there's some without aircon so I presume you can just put that belt on? But...

Is there a Clio mk2 model that doesn't have power steering? Basically I'm wire tucking/smoothing the bay and could get rid of the pas reservoir instead of relocating
When I did the original conversion we had it done in 5days but thats removin the original 1.2 swapping complete looms and also fitting the aircon from the sport which required the bulk cut and all the airbag sensors think the only only wirin original is for the rear lights
Il be removin my engine and box soon going to clean it all up and want to paint it but don't want a boring colour I'd like a metallic of a pearl, can you get these or is it just plain colours

I bought it cheap from Essex and had an injector leak as they had been glued in and had no clips, the bonnet prop didn't have a holder, was driving down the driveway and the bonnet prop touched the positive battery terminal, and with the injectors leaking there was only one thing that was going...

I put the 172 engine in my 1.2, just that I did a bottom arm the other day (not on a clio) and had to spend ages with the gas bottles, but when doing the conversion I didn't remove the bottom arms and from memory I cant remember what te job looked like as I didn't plan on fitting these lol.
