I do already have prima amigo on your recommendations. I've been looking at dodo supernatural, and chemical guys lava. Been advised putting these on top of zaino z2 could be a good combo.
I want the absolute best shine, I know most of that comes from the prep. Also ease of application would be a bonus but not essential. It will primarily be used on the Clio but equally between the other two. Also I need some clay what's would be the recommendation I use me guides ultimate quick...
Hi, been getting into detailing since finishing uni and have just bought a new car so was looking at treating myself to a new wax, what I currently have is a panel pot of DODO Purple Haze and Prima Banana Gloss, I would like to spend around £50-£60. I know the purple haze is meant to be suited...
Cheers I'll have a look today. Would be nice to have a cheap fix like that. Carpets were £240 for materials, this included the rear window. Then £300 for labour
Had the carpets done at last heres a couple of quick pics.
Before
After
Also had the rear window replaced and the beading round the back of the seats reattached. Next job is the seats/door cards, removal of the felt to replace with Alcantara that's a matching blue to the carpets. And...
Does your uncle know that the trophy is a little bit 'special' ? Personally I would love a trophy, swap the rear seats and lights with the ones on your RB.
Finally some progress on the car, spent a few hours taking out the carpets to be replaced this week, also getting the rear window replaced as it was cracked.
I have the model up from those the JL Audio C2's in my clio, they are good, might swap them across, the current headunit in the tamora is pretty poor tbh, its some old pioneer. with no preouts, so couldnt amp if i wanted to. I wwill be changing the headunit pretty soon, just the speakers are...
Ok so I am looking for a new set of 6x9's, going to run these from the headunit no amp. What would be a good set to look at, I want these to be high quality yet still give decent noise.
Before people say don't get 6x9's, I have to as they are going into my TVR, and this is what was in them from...
Not sure on the fuel pump, taken the car into renault, and they seem to think its an immobiliser fault and the key needs to be synced. I'm not so sure on this, I think its more likely a fueling issue or a spark issue.
My 182 just won't start. Have tried giving the battery a trickle charge over night. Jump and bump starting the car but it still won't fire up. There are no lights on the dash that shouldn't be there. And the car does turn over when you use the key but no everytime. Any ideas what this could be ...
All depends on budget. I bought some Atomic Floyd SuperDarts, and they are just incredible. Didn't realise you could get such a sound from in ears till I bought these. Expensive but well worth the money.
Cheers guys I'll give it a quick coat of wd40 but should only be sat there for a month or two. I'll look into making the old head a coffee table then stick it on eBay
Recently bought a new engine head for my TVR Tamora, this new head has has a lot of money spent on machining work and steel valve seats and collars. The head is currently just stored in a wooden box in the garage. Is there anything I should put on it to protect it eg wd40/gt85 or any type of...
You would be better off with a standard sealed box. Problem with sub on the floor it's easy to damage. I have a decent sub in the forsale section of you're interested. And an amp to power it.
Lovely looking car, i think you commented on my thread on Pistonheads about the wipers for my tamora, viper blue look awesome on these cars, can't wait to get back from uni next week and get back on with the job of restoring mine.
I was going to modify my clio, but then realised whats the point, it will cost serious money to make it noticeably better than standard, I did the basics straight through yozza and an itg maxogen, was going to do some real engine work but realised if wanted a quicker car i would just be better...
