Managed to some how snap the lower engine mount, the twisted style?
I have called my local Unipart who stock two types my car is a 51 plate 16V 1.2.
Visually it looks alike this...
On my 1.2 today I noticed it bumping asif I had a flat tyre I thought to myself if it persists after changing roads (could be down to road surfacing) I shall get out and check it over. Anyhow I turn the corner and it makes some really nasty knocking sounds when turning right I think it's N/S...
Probably find you will require flexi section which dips down and has the CAT on it, expensive! Mines the same had a few clios all end up like it. Maybe time to hit it with the welding 'skills'.
Bought a new Clio on the weekend he gave me two keys, one will unlock it, but then the immobiliser light will flash when you try to use that key to start it.
The key that starts it has lost the button off of the circuit board so I'm not sure if that unlocks the car I'm guessing it would...
Black relay labelled 1 if you put a constant live down the output it gets rid of the electrical fault light and I hear buzzing from the engine bay.
Pinky red relay 2nd in from engine when a constant live is put down the out put it fires up fuel pump.
This allows the car to run fully!
Now...
Same problem has cropped up, last time I removed the back seats moved the wire which feeds the pump and it primed and worked for a week. yesterday it began to cut out and often back fire, or start and cut out isntantly?
After fiddling the connections and messing around with various otherthings...
Electrical warning light is lit up, and fuel pump isnt priming, I recently started another thread but I have since narrowed down the fault to being with this.
- Tested relays by cleaning the terminals and running across battery all seven clicked over.
- Taken rear seats out cannot hear or feel...
Update-- Fuel pump is definately not priming, well I can't hear or feel anything after removing the seats, and cover. So... Could this be the fault which is being displayed and causing me a non starting fault? - What is my next best move? cheers!
Onboard computer is displaying T--- which is 'Injection fault for a minimum of four seconds". I am happy it's diagnosed - if so very roughly just want to know what to try now? Thanks!
Coils come up via a few people a few times, it does turn over it just won't fire up!
Coil or Crank Sensor, have some one coming round in the next hour to plug in a snap on computer which is up-to date hopefully that brings something up, I am hopeful the problem will be resolved by tomorow!
As usual, I have had to repair my fob recently but it's working as it should and red dots flashing at usually speed twist ignition and it lights up and disappears. I have towed it today and the warning on left side general engine warning is up now? But so is the pas light, so maybe just as it's...
Checked all seven relays today by removing them and linking them out across the battery, they all clicked over as they should.
I also listened out for the fuel pump priming and I can't seem to hear it, weather or not this is because it's under the seats I don't know.
I also found a receipt for...
Hello, I am hoping someone could help shed some light on this anoying situation I seem to have aquired.
First off I was driving earlier and it was idling at 500> until it no longer idled and simply died out. After a little fiddle beneath the bonnet I moved the wires which lead into what I...
