I bought my 200 new from ness motors elgin and i can only say that i had a great service from them . Mine needed new brakes at 12k they changed them foc and it neede a new gearbox at 15k wouldna go into 4th without crunching they changed the box in 3 days foc . This proberly doesnt help you ...
172 cup all the way for me no abs no tc nowt fancy about them at all really just bloody good
fun though. Id defo recommend decent tyres yoko's toyo's something like that and a decent brake

A blue 53plate 172cup should hopefully fingers crossed have the orange wheels back on will ken better tomorrow the wifes dropping them off at the tyre garage to get my track rubber fitted to them
Mate of min had a v6 and the front brakes are massive so i dont think they will fit plus a v6 is rear wheel drive might be hard to hubs etc to fit and they are two piece disc's
Hi ive just bought some dunlop do1j track rubber for my track based 172 cup and i was wondering will these fit the 172 cup wheels they are 205/50/16 without rubbing my arches. Ive also been offered a set of pro race 1.2's which are mk2 golf gti fitment will these fit my 172 cup? Cheers Nick
