I liked the mk1 alloys. Something different. They are only winter wheels and are only there to serve a purpose. Better tyres for cold weather/ snow driving and to protect your summer tyres/ alloys from the elements. I like the 172 alloys also :)

I'm not sure how much turbines go for I think they would be upwards from £300 for a good set without tyres thou. Don't quote me on that thou!! Get the ph2 dynamique alloys as they are slightly different to the other standard alloys. They are pretty much 15" 172 alloys.

I really like that colour. 182 rep would be very nice in that colour. A full rep requires a fair bit of work to pull it of properly. spacers or fitting the wider track from the sport so the wheels don't get lost in the wider arches. You will also need, front bumper, wings rear bumper, top grill...

Only thing is why put a 182 engine in? Why not just get a 197 or 200 lump?

Loved my little s. Same colour as yours but had the bullet alloys I think they are called. Best colour to have too!! Fun little car, just cost a little to much on the commute to work :/ had it just under a year. Insurance is is very cheap compared to a 182. Think I got quoted 1500 for a 182...

I had rokkor coilovers on my 1.2. Not to expensive and wasn't to bad a quality. Iirc I paid 195 posted from Germany. Subtle Mods are always the best too.

Well done on passing your test. Looks like a good start to what could be a nice car. Get standard alloys, maybe some springs? And leave it like that and save for something bigger ;)

Never been a fan of the stripes personally. But that is a very nice example. Best colour for a 182 too!!! As said before cf cplitter, eibach springs and maybe an exhaust?

I personally don't think it looks too bad. Obviously you have said its a tempory measure so I am a little confused on some on the replies. At the end of the day it's your car, so do what you want.

raceland coilovers are cheap... £200ish iirc. does hurt your spine from what i can remember from my old mk2 ph2. but worth it for the drop.
