It finished on eBay last night, buyer arranged to collect tonight. Lunchtime today I crashed it into the wall getting it out of my brothers garage[emoji35][emoji35]
eBay buyer still wanted it but understandably I had to discount what was already a cheap bloody good 182.
Gutted to see it go...
I will query it with the alignment guy and see what he says.
I've been too hungover today to start taking the car apart but I've just done the really scientific test of driving a couple of junctions down the motorway and touching each brake disc, not much in it but the LHF was hotter than the...
That's a good point, I suppose whilst +3.1 looks like a big number on the print out it's still a tiny amount!
Will check the brakes later, don't know why I didn't think to check yesterday when I was swapping wheels.
One more annoying thing I did notice is that both rears that are now on the...
So I swapped the wheels front to back and it made no difference whatsoever [emoji853]Where do I go from here? Should I be concentrating on sorting out the toe on the RHR? Is that likely to causing/ contributing to the problem? Or should I try and get it aligned again?
I always remove the dash top which gives you a lot more room and options for running the wires better so they're not just stuffed behind the stereo, depending on the adaptor you get the dash top may have to come off anyway so you can plug into the clock display.
Same guy, same place. Rear discs (with bearings) were changed earlier this year although that doesn't guarantee it's not on the way out- no noise or any other signs.
I will swap the wheels front to back tomorrow and see what happens. It had 2 new tyres at the same time which is why I didn't immediately suspect a wheel/tyre issue.
Hi all, I'm in need of some advice to get my 182 (non cup-suspension) driving straight again!
Last year I fitted 172 cup shocks, cooksport springs and camber bolts. I had the car aligned and it drove fine for a year.
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to pick up a nail in one of my...
Fitted my yanoo'd, re-angled Scenic shifter with PH1 knob. What a difference! Yes I'm sure it's no PMS shifter but if you're tall like me and fed up with stretching for gears get yourself one [emoji106]
Firstly I've had a search but can't quite find what I'm after so sorry if this has been covered before! After a trackday last week I've decided I need to get rid of the massive standard steering wheel, I drove a friend's Civic with a 330mm Momo which I thought was perfect size wise.
Being 6'5...
I certainly didn't expect a couple of quid app to hugely accurate [emoji23] Was just curious about the 66%. As I say it drives well so perhaps I should stop looking for problems!
I've been playing with the Torque obd app and noticed the throttle position gauge will only read 3.9% with no throttle input and 66.7% with full throttle. Curious as to know if this was right (and not having anyone around to check for me) I've just filmed my throttle body.
Does this look...
What have you done with the drivers belt buckle? Always thought if you had the belt over the top of the side of the seat it'd be too loose but fiddling and getting it through the side hole might get irritating ?
