No i dont have any documentation for the respray but it was done in 2005 according to the hpi check i did when i bought it. Does have chips and marks where the silver shows through but il throw in the paint chip repair kit i bought for it just never got round to using it

awesome car bud i own one aswell and love it, just had mine fitted with revo stage 1 Eibachs and have a Tripple R splitter waiting to go on. i have the black wheels and have a gloss black roof aswell heres a quick pic
the alloys were refurbed before i bought it but there is some peeling and the front left brake ran a few miles with metal to metal so they will need doing again, im thinking of tracking the car now but as you say it is a good one so dunno what to do just yet
Lol this is my car, I never fitted the exhaust it was there when I bought it but ur photo really doesn't do it any justice and yes il agree the fit isn't the best and the right exhaust is just a pipe ran off the other one
Im from Buckie and the north east doesnt seem to have much to offer, would happily travel to edinburgh though, my other option was to put it onto a trailer and send it to diamond motors or somewhere in england dont really fancy the hassle of it to be honest tho

And where can this r107 be found in the car? Also im ordering a brake switch i was wondering if you know what colour the connections are? Is it a white switch with 4 connections? Im offshore at the moment so cant go and check
Hi mick thanks for the response the car starts fine, if i leave it over more than 2-3 weeks it dies of battery and just makes a clicking noise when trying to turnover, but never had an issue apart from that.
no i would say the throttle works perfect it is just very ittermittent the fault u could...
also having the same fault codes thrown up my thread is here, i think my wiring loom is at fault as ive replaced everything else

Well i had mine into renault to have a look, i also replaced the throttle body the throttle position sensor, renault found low resistance on the throttle pot and a few wires loose to the injectors so tightened them up, still doesnt work and now it looks like all thats left is the wiring harness...
just to add to this i notice when slowing down using the engine braking and or with the clutch in it sometimes revs by itself and when cruising it would almost try to speed up by itself in small doses, ive been reading the throttle body is a common problem would this cause this?
i seem to be getting the square with the zigzag through it, i had this come up twice and on the third time my engine management light came up
i plugged in the rstuner i was planning to install and it came up the following codes

i had a full millteck turbo back and panel filter on my polo GT pd130 and when giving it beans it had a nice low down grunt and couldnt tell it was a diesel, when just cruising it hardly had any sound to it tho. best mod for a diesel is by far a remap this will give you more smiles per miles...
