Naively thinking it would just slot straight in but it must be for a later 172. There are 6 points on the connector but the one that you take out for the CD changer has 8 in a different configuration.
That tape option...
Very nice Chris, such a nice colour on Ph1's, I've never seen one about either come to think of it.....as rare as rocking horse poo!
I'd agree with Alex, if you do think of lowering it Prolines were a great addition to mine and didn't make it look much lower than standard.
It started last week when I replied to Chris's (Sussexgti) post requesting a standard Ph1 172 for an EVO Magazine shoot on 1st June. I was already off work so I gave them a call and headed up to Wellingborough on Tuesday with my Ph1.
Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worst as soon...
Yeah good to meet everyone, some verrry nice motors on show!
Unfortunately I think the duck may have been swiped by the random driving around in the micra......
I'd avoid the Staines China Chef tonight....
I'll come along to this, be rude not to seeing as I'm only down the road......!

Good read, loving the pics! Inspiring me to do something similar.....think the missus is getting bored with ‘road trips’ up to Alton Towers!!
You gotta standard exhaust system on there or stealth K-Tec/BTB? Mines shot and considering my options at the moment, don't want anything too loud for...
Yeah I am, I live in Weybridge so always in the area. I imagine it probably is me as I've not seen too many standard Silver Ph1's around this way......
What colours your XSi, I'll keep an eye out for ya
