im asking because when I changed my front spring the shock didn't expand like gas ones normally do, yet when I fitted new rear shocks they were gas/oil
the only difference if you leave it disconnected it won't start charging until the first time the car reaches say 2000rpm, then it will work fine until the car is stopped again. hope that makes sense (qualified electrician and engineer)
http://www.ubuntu.com/ you can rip it to a cd and run it in live mode to try. personally I use 10.04 lts (long term spport) 11.04 runs a bit slower and uses a different interface
possible, I thought it was just the airbag ecu under there.
have you tried cleaning it?
with the lambda you can swap them over (pre and post cat sensors) even if its just to prove weather its duff or not, at least you won't waste any money that way
Can confirm these are better than the yokohamas (s-drive) they replaced:
Less harsh over bumps
Less understeer
Grip better under heavy acceleration
Obviously I have only done a few miles but if they carry on like this I will be replacing the backs as well
just purchased a pair of these off ebay cheap both have 7.5mm of tread left hopefully they will perform better than the yokohama s-drives I am replacing
Anyone tried these?
lol I ment a new filter BTW there made by busch and identical to the standard one they just cost about 3 times the price  don't cost me a penny though :approve:
they are, I had one front one with white and yellow marking the other side was KYB and had an extra coil  so managed to pick one up for a tenner second hand
20 litres unipart fully synthetic £39 IIRC
easily does 4 oil changes so less than £10 to change oil and our vacuum pumps at work use the same oil filter :rasp:
