The only new parts I'd advertise is "Consumables" - Brakes, tyres etc. If I saw an Ad that said New Gearbox fitted after the old one blew up - I'd probably move onto the next ad.

Apparently this is true. So probably your best bet is to get up to 140mph then coast back down to 1-2mph - repeat until you reach your destination :)

You're both wrong. Drive in reverse and the car gives you fuel back :star: On a more serious note - lose all weight that aint neccessary and turn everything off in the car that you can live without - Cruise, A/c , Stereo. Leave all windows up all the time. Drive like your grannie...

Re: Is the ClioSport more efficient Fuel wise at higher revs? I'd be checking my fuel tank for leaks if I were you :eek: The 200 is widely accepted as being the poorest MPG Clio - and I've never been anywhere near 20 mpg.

Car remains for sale until the first person who says they want it puts a deposit down. Pretty simple really. Bellends saying they want it and will return later should be told "Fine - If someone else stumps up a deposit you're out of luck :rasp:"

This. But the STD Head unit is pish too. New Head Unit, New Speakers - At least then you can get some decent volume. MTAudio sorted me with the correct stalk adaptor (cnstr006 or something like that). The display still shows the time & temp but no tracks / radio stations etc.
