Any links to threads of it? Id love to see how it's doing nowadays.
I've genuinely missed that car ever since selling it. The Fiesta ST was a cracking car though.
I've moved up Yorkshire, so i'm <5miles away from work now. No need for a boring diesel now, thank god!
I must admit, I've owned...
Well, after about 5 years away, I’ve come crawling back to an old 1*2.
Now that I don’t really do many miles in the car, I thought it’d be a good opportunity to have a cheap, fun Clio again.
Really pleased with how clean it is for a car of its age. I’ve got a standard exhaust on order...
Hi CS. It's been a while...
I've owned my Fiesta ST for just over a year now, however I've just started a new job which involves a lot of travelling. Ultimately, it means that I'm most likely going to have to give up the ST, boo!!
So my question, should I drop back down and get a Clio dci 100...
Spotted on my way up to Matlock this evening... I'm sure it was you anyway. Passed you just outside Matlock. No idea on the road name lol. I was in the ST ;).
Im the exact opposite from the above. I've pretty much got everything specced on mine.
I love the sat nav. Works very well and easily usable.
I like the keyless entry and having to press the little button on the door.
Auto wipers work well on the right setting.
Auto lights are the only thing...
For the purpose of taking the photo, yes. Plus, my usual spaces were filled with chavs in their badman Corsas, shouting across to me "your cars s**t" LOL.
I know dealers aren't really switched on with how to wash a car & that, but why would they wash it before changing the oil etc and getting the mechanics grubby mitts on lol.
I need to get a camera to rig up when mine goes in for any work. Will save me from waiting around for it.
Thought that was the case.
Just didn't quite get doing 80 without CC had worse mpg than doing 90.
It is an amazing car. Can't wait until summer when ill actually start to clean it.
Thought id update the thread, as i've just gone over 1000 miles, so the run in period is complete. ;)
I've started to push the car a little more this past week. Had the rear twitching the other day. It's so much fun to throw around corners. You can tell when the ESP (or whatever it's called)...
^ Some serious mileage already lol.
I'm 600 miles in. Absolutely loving it. Everytime that i've put fuel in, my average MPG is growing too which is a bonus.
Yeah, it's not really an issue. Just found it interesting that the spoiler is covered in swirls, but no other whole panel is like that, just the odd patches here & there.
Also spotted my rear arches have already got a few stones chips :( . Going to look into that clear sticker stuff for the...
Just finished giving it it's first ever wash and seal up to cope through the rest of winter.
I'm 300 miles in and loving every second. Discovering new things about it all the time too lol.
Considering the lack of miles, there was quite a bit of tar & iron on the paintwork. All I've done is...
The rear is slightly smaller, which I think I can get away with.
It's the recess on the front that ruins it. Looks ok in the photo, where you can't see the groove in the grill, but doesn't look great in person. Ahh well.
Just received my clean & smaller plates. Yeah, I think I got a bit too excited and went far too small.
I'll give them a week. If they don't grow on me, standard plates will go back on.
I'll hopefully be giving it a clean tomorrow and quick seal up, to cover me for the rest of winter.
Maybe in the distance future, but with how much I'm loving it as is it, it'll be a while.
On yeah, apologies. Forgot that bit, along with my red "Fiesta ST" Sunstrip and stickerz.
Just ordered some plain & smaller plates. The one and only "mod" that'll be happening. ;)
I was planning on giving it a clean & seal up this afternoon, but it's far too cold & windy to make it a success.
As Mark said, it's the recess in the grille. Gutted its designed like that, as a small plate covering just the red would've been perfect. Think it looks pretty wicked like that anyways.
The ST is a world apart from any Clio i've driven.
Just took the Sunflower out for it's last drive with me... Emotional :(. Goes tomorrow.
Ill be ordering clean plates shortly... Tested out the sunflower's on the car, to see how that size looks. I like it. Looks more aggressive ;).
Ended up looking like this ;).
Pre-CSS Detail - OM NOM!! by...
Think mine works fine.
Need to try out the voice control, although again, I haven't read it's uses yet... This car has so much to play about with. Not used to it, coming from Renaults ;).
EDIT: I'm also starting to think the Clio was the cause of my back problems. Since i've been driving the...
Pretty much. Been too busy driving though haha.
I love that I can play the music on my phone via Bluetooth. I haven't quite worked out how to search for more DAB stations, but I guess I ought to read the manual really.
But yeah, everything seems really simple and user friendly. Don't know...
Id rather take the hit, than let it sit at the dealers for 4 weeks tbh.
They're awesome mate. I absolutely love this car!!
I think the diffuser is a standard part of the car, whether it has the Style pack or not. I like it tbh.
Loads of people seem to not like the look of these cars. I didn't...
I'll give a proper write up when I've driven it hard, but up to yet, it's much better.
Feels like it pulls much harder/quicker. I love the amount of toys to play with, doesn't feel as basic as a 200. The seats are mega comfy.
I think the only area that the 200 may beat the ST is cornering, as...
They took the piss out of me LOL. I think they thought I was taking the mick at first.
They also thought I was taking the piss when I told them that if they dare drill holes for the number plates, I'd refuse the car.
You'll be waiting a while I think. My plan is just to decontaminate and then...
