So do I just need to replace the driveshafts? Had my mechanic look at it and he recons its a driveshaft/cv joint broken up. I forgot to mention that the car is very low. Down about 120mm of the front and the CV joint used to click when turned at slow speeds
I was driving home from work tonight and as ive put my foot down to get up the hill it started pulling up the hill then just hit the limiter. then realised i had no drive. in any gear, even reverse. it i put it in gear and rev, the speedo works but the car doesnt move.
There are no wierd noises...
smoothed ph1 tailgate
smoothed ph2 bumper with 'spray on diffuser'
ph2 lights
70mm drop
4 degrees of negative camber and los of stretch and 40mm spacers
Don't touch boss audio haha
I'm about 80% sure the grounding in your headunit rcas preouts have blown. Try a new headunit and let me know, if not I've got a few other things in mind
Take them helper springs out and wind it down dawn!!!!!!!!! ;)
looking good! May i suggest going to blackboots in chesham and getting the fast road setup done, just hand the camber bolts to them and they'll set it up perfectly, otherwise you'll fit yourself going through tyres like nobodys...
looks pretty cool. its a shame that in terms of sound quality it must be sh*te. there must be no way you can hear the speakers and 6x9s over the subs. plus the speakers are probably ruined by the bass. and the subs are in too smaller boxes. they probably sound quite strangled!
Aprart from that...
looking good mate! not sure on the sticker bombing though!
Banded steels are probably the best option! with loads of stretch. but make sure you band them to atleast 8.5j on the rear anything less is pointless imo!
Then smooth the bumpers! got a smooth ph1 rear bumper if you want?
i thought that was was's old clio. it looked much better before tbh. i thought i recognised the plate but thought it was just coincedence! ruined my day that has! its a nice motor. really clean, but was much better before hand!
get pulled all the time as i have no front plate. i'd guess mate that theyd never even notice the smaller plate on the front. i have a highly modded car so theyre always checking insurance and everything but aslong as you are polite and not cocky, but show some confidence then they'll usually...
theyre curbfeelers mate. lol. Come from the vdub/hot rod scene. thought id be different. dont like following the crowd. And i admit the paint work on my car isnt perfect but its not bad for a home job. front and rear bumper needs respraying if im being honest, but ive just forked out on some new...
Mainly euro'd/stanced cars and lots of mine im afraid! but thought i'd post them up anyway!
This cracked me up!
Favourite one of mine!
Thanks for looking.
