my exhaust on a focus 1.6 is blowing out lot of grey smoke when revved and seems to pop aswell. The mechanic thinks it could have the wrong oil in as apparently the zetec engine needs a special oil. Either that or he said the headgasket or pistons has this ever happened to anyon ethe car is...
really impressed with the speed and cornering abilities of the car for a 1.6. Came with fsh leather interior and only 54k on clock and got it for 3,600 with 1 owner from new. Anyone know any good focus sites apart from passion ford, dont seem to be many that are as updated as on here
ok well are they comfortable the 106s and are there many good examples or are there alot of badduns out there lol. Also what insurance group is it. i have been looking at the 1.4 mg zr's i know there alot of problems with these but they look a crackin little car for the price anyone heard much...
basically looking to upgrade for a 1.4 clio it's only an 8v so not really 1.4 speeds, but looking for something with a bit more comfort but sporty looks aswell, wont consider anything more basic i.e the 106's
as above the best 1.4 to 1.6 or basically a car that isnt overly expensive to insure and run for a 20 year old. Preferably 98 onwards any suggestions would be good
it was £85 and then vat on top so came to like £100 for new discs and pads fitted plus i think he tightened my handbreak as it feels tighter than before. Although he had the back wheels off to check the drums an shoes or w.e

For brake pads, Discs and 1 rear drum replaced and fitted at a garage on a mk2 phase 1 clio 1.4rt. Just looking at standard parts not upgraded or anything any ideas would be appreciated cheers

the little rings that the alternator belt go round i think are they called the tensioners or something? i have been told by the garage that they have lots of them lying around and could use one from another vehicle to replace it rather than having to buy the whole kit as the belts are reasonably...
