Thats exactly it, can get an unreal amount of shots off with pistols etc as button travel isnt as far.
Unfortunately I play bumper jumper tactical so until I get a scuf controller I'm stuck using triggers.
Yea it's stopped me playing BR for now, until they fix the in game chat I wont be playing, weve got all 3 platforms in our regiment so need in game chat.
MP in game chat works fine funnily enough so been playing that since the BR issues, working my way through camo challenges and so far...
Solid progress so far mate.
Been away from the thread for a while as i'm gathering parts for mine but caught up now and what you've got done in a short space of time is impressive!
Been quiet as i've been gathering parts.
Can't remember why I actually stopped driving car but believe its because it started to become a bit of an advisory gatherer at MOT time and could see if coming up with an expensive fail bill. Someone offered me a fairly cheap car and as I worked...
Following!
I'm in the process of doing the same with a car I parked up 4 years ago and never went back to! Albeit im not doing it to quite the same standard but you've given me the idea to take the wings off when I do my radiator swap, coolant flush and oil change.
Mine was sat out in the...
I had the 1 and only 1 that he had, although I am suspicious that it isn't going to be a Nissens one and has simply been listen with the nissens code in the title.
Either way it was the cheapest radiator I could find and im trying to get car back on road on a fairly low budget so it was kind of...
Managed to get a Nissens 63855A on eBay for £35 all in still packaged and everything, guys selling off stock from a parts supplier that has closed down due to coronavirus (apparently)
Always dubious about buying from casual sellers on eBay and not registered businesses but will hopefully go...
Cheers both, im finding them for around £50 on eBay at the minute inc postage.
Interested in the valeo one but when throwing in the price of blocking the temp sensor hole which isn't needed im thinking its more faffing for not much of a saving.
Plus for some strange reason ive always wanted a...
Sorry to revive an old thread guys but rather than start a new one it seems better to keep the forum a little tidier.
Will this Nissens 63855A go onto a PH2 172 with AC? If I get the Valeo instead what would be needed to bung the temp sens hole which wont be required?
Model number of nissens...
Update time!
So managed to get it turned around as it has been driven into where it was parked so couldnt get leads onto it.
Got it turned around, checked oil and topped up to just below maximum line and then turned it over without the coil pack plugged in, turned over fine so put £6 of fuel...
I think i'll throw some cheap oil in there to get some through the head, run it and then drop and put some decent oil in with new filter.
I was expecting to have to drop the fuel tank to empty old fuel, is emptying via the fuel rail a viable option or best to just clear the lines by that...
Hi all,
Long time since I've been here.
Pretty simple question; my 172 has been sat for 4 years without being started, its been sat in the elements in a parking space.
What are the chances of all of the seals in the engine being dried out beyond any chance of the engine running properly...
I've had the car for 6 years and never spent money on leads, coil pack or injectors so tbh they're probably all worse for wear.
I would've hoped my injectors are fine as the car's run on VPower or Momentum all of the time.
I'll see how the plugs go tomorrow, as long as it gets me to my...
Yea, the flashing emissions light comes on, sometimes it misfires on more cylinders than others too and sometimes it won't misfire at all for a little bit
You know, it does tend to do it when we've had heavy rain but in the past it's cleared up after a few days, I checked the leads but there was no obvious damage. If the plugs don't fix it I guess leads are my next call?
Thinking of going for the uprated 10mm leads if I have to buy new leads to be honest.
Rather just get away with plugs though so I can finish my other car instead ☺️
Could do with a brain storm with you lot please!
Took the car for an MOT last week and it failed on emissions, fitted a new pre cat lambda and all was good on the drive home. Left the car for a few days and now it's misfiring like f**k.
Have removed the inlet assembly and Bosch plugs, checked...
Try to find a silver lining mate.
Youre okay, she's accepted full liability, if the insurance offer to let you buy it back the engines worth a fortune having had the belts done
If you remove the wheel arches and look behind the will there may be a build up of silt etc there, clean that out with a screwdriver/wire coathanger and then rinse. While you're there you can clear the side scuttle drain holes from up behind the arch liner :)
