You didn`t research when you bought your 197. Renault already have a very quick accelerating clio, its called the 172 Cup! :p

You have compromises here. Keep the inside of the car and spend big money tuning it. If you just want cheap speed you need to strip it.

I doubt the maxogen made the extra 8bhp, it probably made an extra 1/2bhp in total. I bet if you left the ph2 box on with the matched inlets and headwork the bhp would have been almost identical(assuming good CAF location).

If the PH1 airbox was better why did Renault go to the trouble of changing the entire design to a square shape for the cup and 182??? Think about it.. I still think the V6 airbox is no better than the PH2 Square box either, assuming both are CAF'd.(And yes I have tried the V6 round jobby...

i dont think its a drop link, only the 172s and 182 clios have this curved bracket i think, the rest of the clio range use the drop link, ive tried searching ebay but cant find one... :(

Need to get a new bracket thing for my front anti roll bar on my 172 cup as its snapped and failed MOT. Its the clip/bracket right at the end that bolts the end of the anti roll bar to the underneath of the wishbone. A renault part number would be great too!. Thank yoU! Samuel
