Put them on my car after the stock ones broke.
Nice and tight you can really feel the engine responding to the pedal with no lag at all.
The problem is that you'll shake like a bi*ch when you are stuck in traffic... that might be because i also fit the dogbone bushes at the same time ...
you can get it out while still mounted on the engine...let the weight of the engine help you with it.
As a side note...Ktec you should include 12.9 bolts instead of 8.8 being a structural component and all it might be wise to err on the side of caution... just a thought
it's for a race car so the bumper is no issue.
The point of fitting a 172 style exhaust is to save weight over the 182's.
I guess it might be worth having the whole thing custom made...
I'm planning to get an OMP or Supersprint racing exhaust for 172 and i am wondering if it will fit on the 182.
Are the exhaust mounts very different or is it a simple job?
Agreed, toe out @ front = bettern turn in - Toe in @ front = better stability.
But how do changes of the front toe relative to teh back make a difference?
Example: more toe at the front vs less toe at the back. Do they both yield teh same results?
no you can't - you'd be reunning the injectors past 100% duty and the whole thing would go bang.
even for a 50 shot you would need a wet system and an upgraedd fuel pump
Max budget should be around 3000 pounds.
The problem with the cup racers' is that the front won't fit the original hubs.
As far as the AST do they have separate compression/rebound settings? Can't find much info on their website!
Also what brand cartdrige do they use in their shocks? That...
