Would the newer spec tdc sensor last less than 8000 miles?
Had mine original one changed in order to resolve the jerky idle and had no difference with the newer spec but now i get the same fault
there is nothing preventing the roof from closing or opening.
So my info that renault do not sell individual parts is correct.
Assuming that i order a new roof from renault, what else do i need to buy?
Anyone been down that route that can advise?
Does anyone know if renault sell parts to repair the sunroof.
So far, i was made to believe that the sunroof is one piece in renault parts catalogue and has to be changed as the whole lot
Hi all,
Just to add one more issue on my car
Car is a 1.4 16v 2002 model k4J710 engine
When running, you can feel and sort of hear that it is missing a spark but not every time.
Diagnostics show no errors.
Today i replaced 2 coilpacks made it a bit better but still the same issue.

Help please
My Electric sunroof just broke down :(
Was driving along and before i hit the motorway, i decided to close it. It slided forwards but instead of tilting down to close, it stoped. I slided it open back again and then tried to close it once more. (did close in the end)
When i was...
anyone have picts of the above part?
I can see on ebay loads of clio twisted dogbones but all have a square-ish rubber but powerflex sell the replacement part which is round?
Thanks Dan
I know there isn't a powerflex kit ofr it.
My problem is that should it have this mount in the first place? The car is second hand and have no sh with it. I am wondering if it has been replaced and they used a 1.2 or kangoo mount instead.
The next problem is finding a twisted...
My car needs a new dogbone mount.
It is a 2002 model 1.4 16v K4J model
I have been looking for a replacement one and was thinking of going for a powerflex.
I have read that the dogbone on mine and 1*2s are supposed to be either the twisted one or the straight one like the valver (for older...
do they keep water out when washing the car? I saw the installation vid and they use some metal clips as well to secure them.
I was thinking of getting some as well as rain goes in when driving and having the window open
My dogbone mount is nearly gone
Car is a clio 1.4 16v K4J
I have read the positives and negatives of changing them to Powerflex.
Question is
If you drill a couple of small holes around the bush, would it make it more easy on vibrations and fingers crossed stop it from stripping the bolt...
This is what i have in mind to do but i am also looking for better alternatives.
What i had in mind is some sort of metal plate bolted to the ISOfix bolt with some sort of hinges to hold the sub box and secure it to the isofix-boot net mount.
I hope it makes sense
there is a question about the same thing i need it to do and the answer is
A:
It will depend on the weight as they are designed to hold sleeping bags, cables etc,
Prob is the sub has no protection over it. I might have to sort that out as well.
anyone tried to secure their sub to the isofix bar?
My sub box is a bit small and when cornering it keeps sliding left and right.
What have you done to secure it?
I do not want to use velcro tape

have you checked if there is anything trapped on the spring mounts? I had a front spring broken at the end and it sounded exactly as you describe.
BTW check the front ones as well. I always thought it was the rear on my car but was front in the end
yes, forgot to update
I used a screw driver against the chassis as a leverage and managed to get the things off.
On my way to find the problem, noticed my multimeter is dead.
:(
FFS
how the h3ll do i remove these
My amp is not working properly.
I need to check the capacitors for dry joints but the frkn mosfets are not willing to part with the sink which is the chassis. I have removed the screws and the covers.
The ones in question are below the screws on the...
i believe the ones in the dash do have a plug.
If i am not mistaken the Alpine tweeters have an inline filter as well so there is not a lot to mess about them when fitting them.
Get 2 adaptors and off you go. You will need a couple of cable ties to make them hold in to place.
Yes i know i should get the proper clusters, but finding some for LHD application is a mission and honestly the cost of them even second hand ones is extortionate. Minimum i can get some new is £180 and these needs to be imported from Germany and they are not even genuine (and not too sure about...
