Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows if the standard rear discs and pads on a ph2 172 are the same as a 182? I know that the 182 has ESP does this mean that the pickup is different to the one on a 172?

Cheers Scotty, i work as an engine develpoer so do this kind of thing all day. Its dificult enough when you have diagrams and an endless suply of parts avaliable. This makes sence as the ecu will probably learn initalaisation values for the throttle i guess i need to get hold of a spare tb...

Yea i think renault quoted about £400 but would beable to get a 2nd hand one providing it doesnt need to be programed to the ECU

yea it is normally just easier if you hold it and look closley rather than leaning round the bonnet trying to do both

just use something non conductive to syop u getting the spark, coz if your holding it whilsrt cranking you will get a shock

yes but hold the tip of the 4th plug close to something metal like the linlet manifold whilst someone else cranks the car you should see a blue spark id use some plasitc pliers or simular to avoid getting a shock if i were you

Thanks Dan where did you get the bolts from? Ive read on here that H&R do them but i could not see them on thier website, any sudgestions? What brand tyres did you used to have and what have you got now? Mabey its just to do with s**t tyres although i have replaced mine with the same make! :S
