Thanks for the help guys. I jacked the car up today and the handbrake works perfectly. However, when I press the brake pedal it doesn't seem to make any difference at all.
Will speak to the MOT testers tomorrow regarding the document from VOSA and see where that gets me.
Hello
My car failed it's MOT yesterday for the following:
001 Nearside rear brake recording little or no effort.
002 Offside rear brake recording little or no effort.
The rear brakes have been changed recently however the MOT tester said that they were recording nothing when testing them...
I'm sure I remember seeing it for sale back end of last year as recognise the picture with the petrol pump.
Definitely find out how long ago belts were changed and who did them.
Getting the key sorted for central locking could be costly, if it was a relatively cheap thing to do then why wasn't...
As said wouldn't worry too much about the mileage, find one that's been serviced properly and has had the belts done at a specialist. Then just look out for the normal things as you would with any other car.
Metal Gear Solid V is split in to two parts:
MGS: Ground Zeroes is a smaller part that will last you about 2-3 hours (hence the price), it's set in a large prison compound and will feature the main story mission as well as about 4 or 5 smaller missions.
MGS: Phantom Pain is the other part of...
Has anyone had issues with Kinect not picking up your voice, having to say Xbox Off about 3/4 times before it actually does it.
Doesn't pick my voice up on the sofa so end up turning it off by hand which defeats its purpose.
I started playing quite a bit of it built up this team at the moment and trying to get 250k coins together from trading.
Really enjoying it, shame on xbox 360 I found it laggy online so just stuck with single player seasons.
Sold my xbox couple weeks ago so looking forward to playing it again...
I'll be in touch in the near future mate as most likely do that.
I got charged for an hours labour and he said he plugged it into his diagnostics machine and checked all the connections but couldn't find anything.
MicKPM I took it to an auto diagnostics place where he looked over the car for an hour, said he couldn't find anything when he plugged it into his machine and that he thinks it may be the UCH.
Does it need to be diagnosed using CLIP?
An update after last night, the light appears to go off randomly if I turn on the rear wiper or flash the full beam for example?
Any ideas why this would happen?
Haven't touched the light in the courtesy light.
They're definitely making contact with the door I've tried pushing them in manually and it doesn't make any difference.
I fitted new door closure sensor switches as I had been having problems with my courtesy light staying on.
Since fitting them the 'Door Open Light' is permanently illuminated on the dashboard.
Due to this I can't press the fob button to lock the car as it thinks a door has been left open...
