Hi all,
O/S front wheel bearing has gone in the clio. Been phoning round garages in Edinburgh (i'm too far away from my local guy back home since moving here) and they are all quoting at least £130 per side to have them done.
This seems a little expensive to me? Can anyone recommend a reliable...
I understand the speed implications. In a 1.4 clio either is pretty unlikely! My point was mostly that they are (some would say) an incorrect rating compared with standard. I could have bought T rated initially but opted for H at a small increase in price.
I ordered some tyres (Dunlop SP Sport) for the clio yesterday, and when they turned up today I found them to be T rated rather than H as I had ordered.
I'm pissed off but there's little I can do because of the jubilee weekend, the earliest I will have the replacement tyres, according to the...
Graphics aff, silvervisions in the front and rear lights, replace the old RS badge for the new style and do the wheels anthracite and put a splitter on the front. (OEM, looks like it's been removed). Otherwise, tidy. I know a good detailer too ;)
Wonder if anyone in the know can help me.
I've a 2006 1.4 clio 3. On cold start up the engine makes a whirling noise which then disappears once the engine gets warm. Also, in the first mile or so of my journey in the morning, again when the car is cold, changing gear produces the same...
Hi everyone,
I've been having a look through the threads on here regarding cam belts and most are in relation to 172s or 182s. I have a Clio 3 1.4 (2006 ->) and I'm approaching the 5 year/ 72k interval. Can anyone in the know tell me exactly what it is I need done? So when I'm getting prices I...
Tyre performance is so subjective, its almost impossible to decide based on reviews alone. I would suggest which magazine for some kind of impartial testing. Otherwise, the usual performance/ price correlation stands.
some talk about Iron X in here; i've used Tardis before which is great for tar and organic things, will iron X remove this too or will i be buying both at my next shop?
Maybe you could answer this, in the US apple stores do they only sell contract phones? Trying to get a price for an iphone 4 from the US website with the view to picking one up over there....
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
GF will be in the states before the UK launch, no doubt they will be cheaper over there?
Anyway, my question is, will a US bought iphone work here, or is unlocking/ jailbreaking needed?
Saying that ive only ever used the two types of pad...
Al, using the same compounds/methods you noticed a real difference in results with the 3M over, say LC pads? Who stocks them?
Its among the best in the region id say. Careful, the curbs were pretty high at some bits i remember hitting one pretty badly. Enjoy it, should be a fun day.
