Yeah its lookin like turbo failure, the mechanics at the steelers reckon but they takin a look at her tomoz. If it is turbo how much is another one roughly & how much for labour etc

Hey does anyone know wot this could be?? I was takin a friend home last nite when i pulled away & noticed vast plumbs of white smoke comming from my exhaust as i went up the road. Suspected head gasket so checked coolant levels but it doesn't seem to have dropped and i hav no discernable loss...

Ive got a basic 360 but sadly without an internet connection. Is it possible for me to download new 'car packs' using the pc at work onto a USB pen & plug that into my xbox to upgrade that way???

c'mon guys we were talkin bout this just the other day.. Ive heard the 'strainer' exists, but it don't show in the haynes manual - can anyone claifiy where exaclty i'l find it? attached to the pump or in tank?? thanks in advance

I need to clean the tea strainer on the fuel pump under the back seats, how do i go about that? do i hav to de-pressurize the system so fuel doesnt go everywhere? how do i do that? help appreciated

lol i'd be very careful with that cos its not exactly a proven science! I can normally do about 600miles on a tank in my dci but one day it said i had another 50 miles to go and ran out of fuel! Very embarrasing! lol depends how u drive i guess

Yeah ive got same problem atm, there's a lad on here who fixed it by clearing the crap outta the fuel pump strainer under the rear seats.

Umm i'm suprised nobodies mentioned this but doesn't it damange the CAT convertor??

How do you remove it?? Ive revealed the pump and disconnected the leads but where to now?? help

We used 6 grand diagnostic equipment which showed the common rail was reading too low a pressure - not suprising when we saw how much air in there! he was sayin that with these cars the fuel was being 'sucked' in by the high pressure pump but that that sucking action wouldn't be as effective if...

lol no and the tanks nearly full :) wen we prime the 'bulb thing', air seems to generate itself getting more and more plentiful :S sounds like a leak to me

Ok we've established its NOT the Remap. There's AIR in the fuel line! & LOTS of it!! oh no :(

Hey had the mechanic over tonite about my recent starting problem and we identified MASSES of air in the fuel line visible between the high pressure pump & the fuel filter & line attached to other end of the primer (where does that go?) Does anyone hav any idea how the air could have got in...
