My 182 had 5 previous owners, the previous being female and she only had it a month. Doubt she could handle the heavy clutch! Never had any real problems with mine.
Probably worth bearing in mind that due to the financial climate people are chopping in thirsty cars a lot more.
I'm experiencing this too, but my mechanic friend said I only have a few thousand miles left on my pads and could do with fresh discs. Currently looking for an upgrade - was thinking trying out the KTR discs with DS2500 pads.

I need to replace the 4 screws that hold the splash guards on under the bumper, the screws in the wheel arch and also the bolts/square washer thing that hold the bumper to the rest of the car in the wheel arch.

Update: I'm not sure what make the water pump was but the garage owner said it was a brand that he uses often and it's the first time he's had it happen - however he's put a different brand in now and so far everything seems to be running fine.
