I thought the cheap offer was just for people who had had the original box when it first came out (i.e. 4 years ago). I had the original box but got it 3 years ago (2007). They wouldn't let me have the offer, and I called three times and eventually cancelled!
Sold the old box on eGay for £60.
I got the Dubmeister ones, they were pricey IIRC but they are good. Never had any trouble from them, even when I was followed for ages the other day by an unmarked car.
2hrs is not bad at 2pm! I went to the Bullring yesterday abut lunchtime (1pm) and there were hundreds of people in the reserved queue, bet the ones at the back would have been there until close.
Across the counter in the shop?
I want to offload my 16GB 3G but there is dust under the screen and a little damage on the back so wary of posting it off in case I get screwed over.
Was 2:30pm before mine got delivered, looks awesome, major improvement on the 3G. Had a couple of trial runs with SIM card cutting and then did my contract one, eventually got it working. :|
Stupid T-Mobile, they still don't know when they're releasing the 4 or micro-SIMs.
They probably had DynS138 cars in build that they just put the new body parts on so they had some press cars - the new 1.6 probably wasn't ready at the time.
Just needs BBC1 and 2 simulcast in HD, PITA going all the way to BBC HD just to see if what you want to record is being shown in HD as well. Either that, or Sky need to make it easier to identify shows in the EPG on BBC 1/2 that are also on BBC HD.
