You should be able to get it into neutral from underneath the car, the gear linkage is underneath the car. Should be easy enough to remove the under tray if still fitted..
TRS do a teardrop one like that, but IMO I think they look a bit crap/awkward. I had the carbon "Aero" roof vent on mine and it looks much cleaner/in keeping with the car. GRP4 Fabrication do a similar one in GRP which is cheaper as well..

The cup racers were like this but with a solid tow eye, the wire rope towing eyes are a neat solution also but they wreck the bumper unless you are pulling the car directly from behind when recovering.

AP Racing or Tilton are the only ones I have tested which give enough pressure reduction, the Wilwood ones may also work but never tested. Stay away from the like of Compbrake or anything non branded from eBay etc.

Ah I see, that's good news! Are they remaking the casings as well? That what went on my old one. The nut isn't the same as on the regular JC5 that you also need a special socket before. It's completely circular with key ways in it.
Looks like a good base, nice bits like Reigers etc. Be nice to that gearbox though, hard to get parts for them now. If you want the special socket to remove the diff nut I have one, cost nearly £100!
There are a few nice cars out there, most of the quick ones Ex Clio cup. I converted my cup car back in 2009, now RHD, running a new ST75 gearbox, ITB's, big brakes etc. Could be for sale soon if anyone's interested.
Make sure you use a decent running in oil or race oil, needs to have a high Zinc content. I used Millers stuff:

I will probably get the Klarius one, found it on carparts4less.co.uk for £128 delivered to Jersey. The car is just a work horse so not bothered by performance or weight just want it to be nice and quiet!

I'm looking to buy a good quality standard exhaust for my 172, the Ktec Stealth it has on currently does my head in. I want standard noise levels but something that isn't going to fall apart after 12 months. Does anyone know of any good options?

I think one of these would be ideal for taking to the track, not to big and modular so you dont have to lug the whole thing around the pits.
