I go to Afghanistan again towards the end of December and dont want my 172 sat around for four months so I need to shift it.

It will be on the driveway which is plenty secure enough, mrs could run it up for me if neaded but id rather it wasnt a hastle for anyone.

Mines no show winner, and I do see the logic of buying a newer / better condition one but its the dephaser and belts that I wasnt peice of mind on and to buy a car thats had them done would cost a lot more :(
My ph2 172 engine will be on 105,000 by the time I get back from afghanistan in april next year and I was a full service. so is it worth paying out for all belts etc and dephaser or get a second engine with lower miles and pay for fitting + belts etc. I'm trying to think cost effective.
I fitted a set of body coloured ones (ebay jobbies) to my mums agila, piece of p**s to fitt! Live feed from reverse lamp. bumper off job for sure though. most decent ish ones even come with the drill bit!
as above, maybe ditch rear speakers and upgrade the fronts for better sound.theres small things all over it that you can ditch like acoustic valve - hey it all helps!
I have fitted components in the front and coax in the rear of my ph2. although sounding crystal clear, there is a lack of deep bass so my search resulted in a very lucky 8" Kenwood bass tube from ebay! small but just the job for me and isnt very heavy either.
