the V6 or Trophy are the only 2 with a chance. the V6 has the best chance mainly because most people buy them just to say they had or have one.

its is a 172 in every michanical part. The whole drive train, brakes, susspenssion is 172. thats the point. now reduced to £2000

On my 1.4 there was a small green wire in the wiring loom that had snaped, but not completly. Check this, because it was the renault tech guy so told me to check this on mine. I dont think a car will ever stall once running because of flat'sh battry??

Mine is fine at below 50mph as said. Anything above that though for any extended amount of time will do your head in. does sound fantastic on full chat though :) Got a 197 aswell now an it very nice to drive without the noise ALL THE TIME.

Ive done this already and done a wiring guide on getting the ac, heated rear windows working with the new diles along with the lights. See guide section for it. ph1 door cards fit fine. You need all of the Dash from the ph2 and a heater unit from a poverty spec ph2. It fits exactly the same...

thats good to know. It just that fixed seat can be a bit uncomfortable on long runs say over 1hr. Does any one have any suggestions for comfy seats??

A Clio Cup isnt a cheaper car to run or insure, just a cheaper car to buy. I could buy a £10-15k car but it doesnt meen I can afford to run it. Also Insurance is main reason I dont drive around in a M3 as its would cost £3200

^^^ if you have abs and the spacers were fitted incorrectly its makes a wired shwwshin noise. Maybe did up the hub bolt to tight?

Re: 172 cup......what's it worth? Around £3.5k 50% of £16k 3 years old = £8k then £1k every year 8-5*1 = £3k
